Installing on Windows

With installer

1. Download Sononym for Windows
2. Click the downloaded file to launch the installer
3. During the install, you will be able to choose a folder
4. Done. As the final step, you can choose to launch Sononym
5. Also, a shortcut to the program is created within your Start Menu

Where does Sononym save data?

Program Folder - Depends on the location you picked during the installation.
On Windows, installed programs are usually located in C:\Program Files\Sononym\

Configuration Folder - Where preferences, log files etc. are kept.
The folder can be revealed by choosing Show log file from the Help menu. On Windows, it would typically be a path like C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Sononym

Documents - The default location for projects, recorded/cropped audio files, etc.
The folder can be revealed by choosing Reveal in Explorer when right-clicking a Project. On Windows, this would typically be a path like C:\Users\[User Name]\Documents\Sononym
